This place is adorable and I give them a five for ambiance and decor. It looks like a coffee shop you would see in any college town or hipster part part of a city. I had an Italian soda, huckleberry flavor. I ordered it without milk after a bad experience at another place...there is no cream in Italian Soda anywhere I've ever been before but apparently that can happen in Montana. My soda was lovely. I ordered the green salad for $6. All the other salads had chicken and were around $9, so I was surprised when my salad arrived with chicken on top. Also, they weren't kidding when they said it was a green salad. Just about everything in the salad was green or white; there was no color until I mixed it up and saw a few shreds of carrot and red cabbage. The spinach leaves were buried at the bottom under the yellow romaine hearts. The lettuce and the green pepper slices were too big to eat as is. I hate having to cut up a salad; I want it to be served in forkable bites. The citrus ginger dressing was very nice. We waited a long time for our food. It seems to be just one person in the kitchen, so it must have taken awhile to get to us. The sweet potato fries, however, looked like they started cooking when we ordered. They were good but very dark. I think I was just unlucky and was tempted to rate a 3 is in part due to the weak vegan options. Everyone else had a lovely meal, though they grumbled about the wait. My husband loved his three cheese Italiano. The wraps are all grilled, which looked delicious. All the sandwiches come with blue corn chips. My sister enjoyed her salad and my grandparents enjoyed their grilled sandwiches. I would recommend this place to anyone within 60 miles, even a vegan. They have a lot of great ingredients and I am sure they would throw something together for anyone coming in, but I didn't feel like ordering off-menu. We went back later for baked goods, ice cream cones and milk shakes and everyone loved them. My brother in law said the huckleberry milkshake was the best milkshake he ever had. The milkshakes are better than the scoop ice cream, of which they have 6 or 8 flavors including huckleberry.

Cute place to stop for a bite. Travel weary, done with Subway and McDonald's, this is a delightful respite, homemade soups, sandwiches, coffee, pies...Definitely worth the stop to check out Fort Benton. Very enjoyable for a short lunch stop. Big fresh pickles, a star in itself!

Just discovered this fabulous little eatery when we were visiting Ft. Benton for the day. We had a wonderful lunch. The service was slow and they seemed to keep running out of ingredients but the food, when it came, was fantastic. I had the chicken wrap with olives, avocado, peppers, and artichoke - it was absolutely delightful. Our son had a gourmet grilled cheese that he thoroughly enjoyed. I had some chai since they were out of Vietnamese tea. Though the service was slow, the ambiance and character of the building were lovely, and in the end, I'm glad we were able to bask in the wonderful sun pouring through the windows, enjoy a slow day in a quaint town, eat some wonderful food, and just...relax. We will definitely go again and highly recommend!

Seriously pleasant, both in atmosphere & items available. Didn't have time to hang out, but did buy three scones. One each, raspberry, blueberry & cranberry. The girl behind the counter was somewhat put out, think she was having a bad day. The place is very nice & has a good feel to it otherwise. Wish I'd had more time to sit & enjoy.

Stopped in here last week for lunch while visiting For Benton, not expecting anything special. The food was far better than we had expected and we were able to sit outside. When you first walk in it looks like just a coffee shop, but actually there are quite a few choices for food, as well as ice cream. I had a veggie quiche with an incredibly good crust.

Amazing tea. Amazing service.Amazing decor.Amazing Amazing Amazing. The tables were made of old doors and old windows. The food was great and I couldnt help but think this quaint little place was out of a story book. Fort Benton is quite a little town, maybe 1000 residents and so to have such a high quality coffee shop stunned me. I think you get the point!!!

The Wake Cup Coffee House is a microcosm of everything that makes Montana, and Fort Benton itself, special. Fresh/unique ingredients. A melting pot of clientele - ranchers and teachers mingle amongst tourists and fishermen. It feels like home; warm, inviting, cultured and caring. Beautiful without being hands-off. Above all, the proprietors were generous with their time and knowledge. Wake Cup would be gem in any city lucky to have it. For us, what pushed the experience beyond rewarding and into the realm of special was getting to meet Shawn. The man knows his business. He's passionate about ingredients. He loves the area and wants to convince you of the same. He was beyond kind and engaging to every single person that walked into the place. He talked at length with us about coffees and teas, his favorite area activities and his unique Montana experiences. Again - this place stands a head above the rest in both decor and food/drinks. Its the people, like Shawn, that will have us coming back time and time again. A true compliment to a wonderful town.

This is such a great place to stop for a drink. There's not only a great choice of drinks which includes teas, coffees and blended but they also have a wonderful food menu. Definitely a wonderful find! I really enjoy getting their London Fog drink.

Took a drive to get a break from Great Falls and decided to go to Old Fort Benton which was so charming and very interesting. Saw this sign for Woke Cup and decided sounds good. The cafe is adorable and decorated wonderfully. We got a menu which is a old license plate for the back and a breakdown of the offerings on laminated sheets attached. It all sounded awesome but we decided on the BLAT. Bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato on sourdough bread toasted. Pickle and chips. It was wonderful the bacon was perfect. I also Chai tea and hub got coffee, both were perfect. Very friendly and fun. Very clean. Outside dining available. Only open for breakfast and lunch. Worth the drive it's amazing.

Love this place. Their porridge was excellent and the barista was super friendly and helpful. The decor and location is to die for. I wish I could hang out here every day. There's tables for dining on the patio and the atmosphere inside is lovely!

I absolutely loved Wake Cup Coffee House! I'm not sure how we stumbled upon it during our short stay in Fort Benton, but I'm sure glad we did. This coffee shop is so quirky and charming. Were I to be a resident of Fort Benton, I'm fairly certain I'd spend a good 70% of my life here. It honestly felt like something out of a movie or a television show, like Friends or Gilmore Girls. But mostly Gilmore Girls. The vibe inside was so comfortable and homey, I just wanted to stay for hours and try everything. EVERYTHING! Unfortunately, since we didn't have much time, I just had tea (African something, I forget the name), a muffin, and a very very large jam filled chocolate chip cookie type thing, and they were all very delicious. Five solid stars! Coffee shops in Los Angeles need to start taking pointers from Wake Cup Coffee House. With it's memorable decor and great sense of humor, I'm sure business in Fort Benton will be booming for many many years to come.

Certainly the best coffee house between Havre and Helena! It probably has an ever bigger radius of superiority than that. The ambiance is great and the food is delicious. We were despairing that we'd find no decent coffee on a Sunday in remote Montana. Thanks for not only saving the day, Wake Cup, but being the highlight.
